ZERO LATENCY VR TO EXHIBT AT IAAPA EXPO 2026

Written by Zero Latency | Oct 22, 2026, 2:51:58 AM

We'll have our 6-player, plug-and-play Quantum Arena designed specifically for entertainment centers on the showfloor for a full taste of the end-to-end Zero Latency experience. IAAPA visitors will be able to put on a headset and enter the world of Jumanji: The Lost Levels  before anyone else in the world.

ABOUT IAAPA EXPO 2026

IAAPA Expo is the largest trade show for the attractions industry, bringing operators, manufacturers and suppliers from theme parks, family entertainment centers, zoos, aquariums and resorts together at Orlando's Orange County Convention Center each November. This year is set to be the biggest IAAPA Expo yet.

JUMANJI: THE LOST LEVELS

Zero Latency VR has partnered with Sony Pictures to bring the Jumanji franchise off the screen and into entertainment centers. Guests become the heroes of their own blockbuster, exploring vast new worlds with chaotic action and familiar faces.

Jumanji: The Lost Levels opens just ahead of the new Jumanji: Open World movie, in cinemas on December 25, 2026. It's the first time an immersive experience has launched alongside a movie release.

Jumanji: The Lost Levels is being built from the ground up as a family-friendly experience, focused on adventure, teamwork, and social play. Together, players overcome daring challenges, and become the heroes Jumanji needs.

True to the franchise, players get sucked into the game itself and take on the avatars of heroes they already know and love, Dr. Bravestone among them.

65% of Gen Z have imagined stepping inside the worlds they watch. Once reserved for the big theme parks, IP-based social attractions are now available to entertainment centers globally.

The experience, Zero Latency's first fully hand-tracked title, opens worldwide on December 4, 2026. For the first time, there are no controllers to pick up, no extra equipment, and nothing between your guests and the world they're stepping into.

It's the most accessible experience we've ever built, for a title the whole family can play together.

  • Full 30 minute experience. A limited number of sessions of the complete experience, available by pre-booking only. Bring your party and play it the way your guests will. This is an opportunity to be the very first in the world to try the brand new blockbuster experience Jumanji: The Lost Levels.

THE QUANTUM ARENA

The Quantum Arena is a 6-player, plug-and-play solution designed for entertainment centers looking to deliver the next level of premium, free-roam VR. It spans 1,055 square feet, a compact footprint that still gives groups room for fast, physical play in Zero Latency's expansive virtual environments . Seeing one running on the show floor is the quickest way to judge whether it fits your site.

Our team will be on the booth to talk through footprint, throughput and install.

VR ON THE SHOW FLOOR

Expect VR to be one of the busier categories at IAAPA Expo 2026, and for good reason. The State of location-Based VR 2026 study, conducted  by independent market research agency Glow and commissioned by Zero Latency VR found that when consumer were asked which attractions they were interested in, virtual reality ranked first at 93%, ahead of arcades, bowling, escape rooms, mini golf, laser tag and karting, in every region surveyed. It is also the only major attraction to have gained pull since 2023, while arcades and karting have lost ground to more social immersive formats.

Quality is what separates the winners. Visitors now judge VR on execution before novelty as they seek new thrilling social experiences, rating quality of graphics as #1 expectation from a virtual reality experience. Guests are no longer impressed by the headset itself. They are judging what is inside it, and they will pay a premium when it holds up. Get the full report.
